Bitesize Prediction: Swansea vs Sheffield United – 13/09/22

Competition: Championship

Market: Sheffield United draw no bet

Odds: 7/10 @ 888sport

With English football making its return on Tuesday night, Swansea will welcome a high-flying Sheffield United to south Wales when the midweek Championship fixtures get underway.

Starting with the hosts, last seen earlier in the month making a much-needed return to winning ways, there is no doubt that Swansea will be desperate to build off of that momentum. However, despite claiming a hard-fought 1-0 victory at home against QPR on September 3rd, Russell Martin’s men still find themselves battling it out at the foot of the Championship table. Picking up just a single win from any of their previous five second-tier showdowns, the one-time MK Dons boss has also seen his side pick up a pair of victories from any of their opening nine matchups across all formats. Likewise, knowing that they face a tough task on Tuesday night, they should be worried about their most recent meeting against the league leaders. When the two sides last faced off back in February, Swansea were blown away thanks to a 4-0 drumming at Bramall Lane.

As for the visitors, while the Swans might have shown some extended inconsistencies since opening the 2022/23 campaign, the same cannot be said for a high-flying Sheffield United side. Last seen earlier in the month picking up a 2-0 victory away at Hull, the Blades find themselves tipped as a leading promotion pick this time around. With a Premier League return firmly at the top of their agenda, Paul Heckingbottom’s men should find the mood in their camp at a red-hot high. In fact, on a run that is highlighted by a stunning 4-0 romp at home against Reading on August 30th, Tuesday’s guests are unbeaten in each of their last six Championship contests. Hitting Swansea for four when they welcomed the relegation scrappers to Bramall Lane back in February, an away draw no bet can be found at appealing odds.

Bet: Sheffield United draw no bet against Swansea 7/10 for Tuesday’s Championship matchup @ 888sport
