Boateng urges Milan to sign Tevez

Milan playmaker Kevin-Prince Boateng believes Carlos Tevez would be an instant hit at San Siro.

The Rossoneri have been linked with a loan move for the Manchester City forward, but they are also reportedly keen on Catania striker Maxi Lopez.

“Maxi is playing well, but we need someone like Carlitos,” Boateng told Il Corriere dello Sport. “It would be excessive to sign both of them…”

The Ghanaian has had a great start to his career at San Siro and he sees no reason to leave the club in the near future.

“I’m happy here and I want to stay. I have a four-year contract and it is my desire to respect it.

“I play for a great club in a great city, but you never know what will happen in life.”
