Borussia Dortmund 3/4 to beat Stuttgart in Friday’s Bundesliga clash

Competition: Bundesliga

Market: Borussia Dortmund to beat Stuttgart

Odds: 3/4 @ Bet365

The Bundesliga returns this weekend following an international break that will have left German fans hungry for footballing action as the national team had already qualified for the World Cup, meaning that they were just involved in friendlies. Back to the league though, and Bayern Munich are beginning to reassert their dominance at the top, and Borussia Dortmund, who travel to play Stuttgart on Friday, are in desperate need of a win.

Stuttgart have been struggling massively this season and they are in danger of getting dragged into a relegation battle this season. In their last five games they have won just twice, while they have lost the other three. This has left them in 12th place in the league with just 13 points, meaning they are only five points clear of Freiburg in 16th. With just 10 goals scored and 14 conceded, it is clear that the home side are struggling across the pitch, with the players in need of incision going forward, and solidity at the back.

For Borussia Dortmund, it has been a hugely disappointing season. They were on top in the league and they looked to be pressing home their advantage with Bayern in disarray, but they have only won one of their last five games, losing three and drawing the other. While they are still well and truly in the title race, sitting just six points behind the leaders, the players and fans will be hugely disappointed to see their lead disappear in such circumstances. With Dortmund in desperate need of a win, we are backing them with odds of 3/4 from Bet365.
