Daniel Agger could make a move to Germany in January. The Danish defender was watched by scouts from Borussia Moenchengladbach this weekend. The Liverpool centre-back played with his country at the weekend in their 1-0 win over Sweden.

Agger, who has been haunted by a back injury for months, played an impressing match against Barcelona star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The 24-year-old hasn`t played for his club this season and Moenchengladbach is prepared to pay half his wages to take him on loan for the second half of the season according to Bild.

Borussia`s defence is struggling and already allowed sixteen goals against this season.
