Two nations who have continued to shine in the final third, the Lionesses will meet the USA at the Groupama Stadium on Tuesday night.

Starting with Phil Neville’s high-flying Lionesses, putting in yet another eye-catching display in their ruthless 3-0 victory over Norway last week, England are a nation who have only gone from strength to strength. Winning each of their five appearances out in France this summer, the former Manchester United and Everton man will be most impressed by his sides’ continued form in the final third. Spearheaded by Manchester City ace Ellen White who has already bagged five goals, the Whites have found the net six times in their last two appearances and Neville’s side will be confident of pulling off a famous victory in midweek.

As for the USA, while the defending champions may have left it late to pick up a 2-1 win against hosts France last time out, the Stars and Stripes still have their sights firmly set on reclaiming their crown this summer. Unsurprisingly, it will be their continued form in the final third most impressing Head Coach Jill Ellis. With captain Megan Rapinoe once again bagging a brace against Les Blues last weekend, no team has registered more goals in the tournament so far, including an empathic 13-0 win over Thailand in their final opener. Given both sides scintillating attacking form, we’re backing a lively encounter on Tuesday.
