Sunderland have signed midfielder Liam Bridcutt from Brighton and Hove Albion for an undisclosed fee.
Former Brighton manager Gus Poyet has targeted his old club as Bridcutt has left the Championship club and penned a three-and-a-half-year deal at the Stadium of Light.
