Brighton could be in for Celtic’s Dembele

Newly promoted Brighton have had an impressive start to life back in the Premier League, but manager Chris Houghton will be looking to ensure that his side guarantee themselves survival, allowing them to build upwards next season. The Seagulls currently sit 12th in the league table, but they are only seven points above the drop zone.

Scoring goals has been Brighton’s problem, having found the back of the net just 14 times in 15 games this season. With that in mind it is little surprise that they are in the market for a striker, and Celtic’s Moussa Dembele is the man at the top of their wish list for the January window, according to the Mail.

The French forward bagged himself 32 goals in all competitions for the Scottish champions last season, proving himself as a highly prolific player. His goals could certainly ensure Brighton’s survival, and could see them climb the table and leapfrog some of the struggling sides above them.
