Premier League giants Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal to sign Ivorian midfielder Jean Michael Seri from Nice, according to RTL.
The Blues are reportedly in advanced talks with les Aiglons, with the player keen to realise a big club move this summer.
Chelsea have struggled in the middle of the park after selling Nemanja Matic and they hope Jean Michael Seri will be an answer to their problems.
The highly rated central midfielder was on the verge of joining Barcelona last season, but Nice eventually refused to let him go.
Les Aiglons now seem ready to cash in on their star player, who scored 12 goals in 103 league outings since arriving from Pacos de Ferreira.
