Chelsea confident of signing Moises Caicedo

Chelsea are confident of beating Liverpool to the signing of Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Moises Caicedo in the summer transfer window, according to 90min. The report has claimed that Chelsea are close to finalising a deal of over £111 million with Premier League rivals Brighton for Caicedo.

Earlier this week, Liverpool had agreed a £111 million deal with Brighton for Caicedo. However, the Ecuador international midfielder wants to join only Chelsea, and now the Blues are about to finalise a deal with the Seagulls. 

Chelsea had a terrible campaign last season and will be aiming to do better this time around. Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be determined to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this campaign. As for Liverpool, the Merseyside club will aim to win the Premier League title this season.
