Deportivo Pasto climbed to third spot and are within a point of league leaders Santa Fe after Colombia Primera A action over the weekend.

Pasto went level on points with Once Caldas, courtesy of a 2-1 home victory over Cucuta Deportivo.

They climbed above Deportes Tolima, who were held to consecutive draws after Deportivo Cali earned a 2-2 stalemate away from home.

It was Cali’s fourth straight draw in the league, which leaves them seventh on 22 points – three behind Santa Fe in a packed top end of the table.

In other results, Millonarios smashed Patriotas Boyaca 4-1, Envigado kept a clean sheet at home to Atletico Nacional with a 3-0 result while Boyaca Chico earned a 2-1 home win over Atletico Huila.

Medellin edged Itagui 1-0, La Equidad blitzed Deportes Quindio 3-0 and Junior chalked up a 2-1 victory at home to Alianza Petrolera.
