Owen Coyle has backed his Bolton side to reverse their fortunes and get off the bottom of the Premier League table.

Coyle’s side have endured a winless start to the season, taking just three points from the first six games.

Their latest outing ended in a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal.

But Bolton manager Coyle is adamant that his side will start winning, telling Bolton News: “We will turn it around.”

“If that means changing personnel or that one or two are playing in a comfort zone, then I have shown that I will change the team.”

“What I do know is that a win is just round the corner, it’s not far away.”

The absence of Bolton’s top players has been key to the stuttering start according to Coyle, who believes the return of their stars will help in improving the team’s form as a whole.

“We’ve had big personnel missing with Gary Cahill, who has been ill, and Stuart Holden, who just missed out on being right,” Coyle said.

“They are quality players to bring back into the group and we will be a better team for it.”

A tough set of fixtures has also played a part in Bolton’s troubles, with Coyle’s side having faced both Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Arsenal, while Chelsea visit the Reebok this weekend.
