As reported by Ben Jacobs for Give Me Sport, Crystal Palace are inviting offers for Marc Guehi this summer, with Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool interested in the services of the 23-year-old defender.
Palace had hoped to tie Guehi down to a new contract as his current one expires next year, but it seems he has no intention of prolonging his stay in South London, believing he is ready to take the next step in his career. The club have therefore changed their stance and are willing to sell, rather than risk losing him for nothing in 2026.
Newcastle had several offers rejected by Palace last summer, and though they’re not actively pursuing the player at the moment, the interest is believed to exist still. The same goes for Spurs, who failed in an attempt to sign Guehi in January.
Liverpool’s interest is the most recent one and Anfield does look like the likeliest destination should Guehi leave Selhurst Park, but it would depend on several important points. Palace would need to drop their asking price to below £45million for the Premier League champions to act, and Guehi himself would need to believe he would be getting regular game time under Arne Slot, as he eyes a starting spot in Thomas Tuchel’s England side for the World Cup next year.
