Juventus defender Paolo De Ceglie has extended his contract with the Serie A club until 2017.
The 25-year-old’s previous deal was due to expire in 2013, with his agent admitting in January that a transfer to Roma was a possibility.
De Ceglie was unhappy with his lack of first-team action at Juventus, but he has committed his future to the Turin-based club after becoming a key member in manager Antonio Conte’s team this year.
The left-back, who is a product of Juve’s youth academy, has made 15 Serie A appearances in 2011-12, scoring one goal.
