Dejan Stankovic ponders MLS switch

Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic could be interested in a move to MLS, La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals.

The Serbian midfielder has a contract with the Neroazzurri until June 2014, but is likely to leave much sooner.

Stankovic is no longer considered a first team regular at Giuseppe Meazza and he is reportedly interested in a new challenge.

The player who recently announced his retirement from international football has spent last eight years at Inter and could now consider a move to America.

Several MLS clubs have shown interest in his services and are prepared to offer him a lucrative contract.
