Dortmund set to sign “Turkish Messi”

German giants Borussia Dortmund are reportedly closing in on Nordsjaelland striker Emre Mor, according to Bild.

The Millionaires recently won the race for Ousmane Dembele, one of Europe’s hottest talents, and they seem ready to recruit another talented footballer.

Namely, Bild claims that Dortmund are close to reaching an agreement for Nordsjaelland forward Emre Mor.

The Millionaires will pay just €1 million for the 18-year-old footballer, who has been nicknamed “Turkish Messi” by the press.

The Danish-born winger was only handed his senior debut in November 2015, but he has largely impressed in 13 league outings for the Danish club.

Despite representing Denmark at Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 level, Mor decided to switch his allegiance to Turkey and has so far made one appearance for the Under-21 side.

Nevertheless, he was named in Fatih Terim’s provisional Turkey squad for the Euro 2016, although chances are he will not be on the plane to France.
