Eredivisie goal machine worth €10 million

Heerenveen have informed interested clubs that star striker Bas Dost can leave the club for €10 million, Voetbal International understands.

With Dutch Eredivisie clubs unable to match the asking price, it is almost clear that the 22-year-old will move abroad at the end of the season.

The highly rated forward has a contract until June 2015 at Abe Lenstra Stadium, and his long contract is one of the reasons behind the high asking price.

The other reason is certainly his amazing attacking prowess and the form he has shown this season, having scored 28 league goals in just 30 matches.

Voetbal International reveals that Aston Villa and Wolfsburg are leading the race for the player’s signature and the Dutch newspaper claims that Dost even visited Germany last Sunday to meet with Wolfsburg chiefs.

The player believes he is ready for a new adventure and it is only a matter of time before he will leave Heerenveen for a big European club.
