Feyenoord, FC Twente and PSV all notched victories in the Eredivisie on Sunday.

Of the three sides mentioned, Feyenoord were the most impressive as they recorded a 3-0 home win against Roda JC in Rotterdam.

Jerson Cabral and Kevin Leerdam were instrumental in the victory, with the latter setting up the former for the opening goal after 12 minutes.

Cabral turned provider just after half-time as Leroy Fer doubled Feyenoord’s lead, and the result was put beyond doubt on 54 minutes when again Leerdam set up Cabral for his second.

The routine victory means Feyenoord sit on top of the Eredivisie, but that could change on Sunday with Ajax hosting Heerenveen.

FC Twente also kept a clean sheet and won at home, defeating AZ Alkmaar 2-0 in Enschede.

Austrian Marc Janko gave his side the perfect start with a goal after just three minutes before Costa Rican substitute Bryan Ruiz put the finishing touches on the victory midway through the second half.

PSV bounced back from a 3-1 defeat last Saturday to AZ, with a 1-0 home triumph against RKC Waalwijk coming thanks to Belgian winger Dries Mertens’ first goal for the club since moving from league rivals FC Utrecht.

Ivorian Wilfried Bony scored one and set up two in Vitesse Arnhem’s cruisy 4-0 home win against VVV Venlo.
