Everton´s Bilyaletdinov Russia-bound

Spartak Moscow are set to sign Everton’s Diniyar Bilyaletdinov for an undisclosed fee according to a statement on the Russian club’s website.

“Spartak have arrived at an agreement in principle with Everton and the 26-year-old Russian international midfielder Diniyar Bilyaletdinov on his transfer to our club,” the statement read, adding that a contract would be signed after a completed medical.

Bilyaletdinov joined Everton in August 2009 from Lokomotiv Moscow and made 59 Premier League appearances for the club, scoring eight goals.

The Russian midfielder started in seven of Everton’s 22 games this season, and made a further three appearances from the substitutes bench.

His goal in the 3-1 victory over Manchester United in February 2010 was voted Everton’s goal of the season that campaign.
