Arsenal’s Lukasz Fabianski may seek a loan move in order to get playing time in the run-up to Euro 2012 to book his place in the Poland squad.

The keeper lies behind national team mate Wojciech Szczesny in the pecking order at the Gunners and has played just twice in the League Cup so far this season, while third choice Manuel Almunia has already spent a spell at West Ham on loan.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper won his first cap for Poland in 2006, but faces stiff competition for a place in the national squad for the European Championships.

In addition to first choice Szczesny, Fabianski is fighting for a spot agasinst Genk’s Grzegorz Sandomierski, PSV Eindhoven’s Przemyslaw Tyton, and Fiorentina’s former Celtic keeper Artur Boruc.

Fabianski told The Sun: “I had a chat with the boss (Arsene Wenger) a few days ago and it was quite an intensive one. It was me who asked to speak although we will have a few more chats.”

“I want my situation to be resolved in the nearest future because I want to play at Euro 2012. I hope Wenger will understand me and we find a solution.”

“I want to play for Arsenal but if not, I will have to go somewhere else, even if it is on loan.”
