Fernando Torres could move if Rafa Benitez moves

There is speculation that should Rafa Benitez not stay at Liverpool then one could expect star Spanish striker Fernando Torres move as well.

The inability of the club to offer Benitez a new deal has led to rumours that the club will also not be able to hold on to both manager and striker.

Chelsea and Manchester City have showed keen interest in Torres should there be any hint of the player wanting to leave Anfield.

The sale of Torres may not be that far-fetched as the club is experiencing cash flow problems and their inability to secure financial backing for their new stadium at Stanley Park.

The club owners have to find about £20 million every year just to pay the interest on the £250 million debts they took out to buy the club.

While there is keen interest in Torres Italian Serie A giants are showing interest in Benitez as the pressure on Claudio Ranieri is increasing.

Torres is unlikely to win the silver he so desires, if he is to follow Rafa away from the liverpool that they claim is the best club they have worked for and played for.
As for Rafa i am sick and tired of the lame excuses that continually attract the headlines he has had 4 years and millions of pounds to build the success that should have had results and the board are very wise to refuse handing controll over to him, as yet he has failed to win prize so demanded by the supporters of the leage title in his only role as manager
He has cost the club millions on bad purchases and with present financial international crisis, he lacks the experience to succeed in this climate.

In fact he is very short sighted in his dealings, has fallen out with every member of the board very publicly, when this should have remained in house. He is an embarrisment to the the club I love.
