Djibril Cisse and Jeremy Mathieu have been called into France’s squad for Euro 2012 qualifiers against Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

France manager Laurent Blanc has drafted Cisse and Mathieu into his 23-man squad after injuries ruled out Kevin Gameiro, Karim Benzema, Franck Ribery and Blaise Matuidi.

Mathieu receives his first senior international call up after impressing for La Liga outfit Valencia.

Cisse is back in the national team after scoring one goal in four games for Serie A side Lazio this term.

France sit in first place in Group D, one point clear of Bosnia-Herzegovina and five ahead of Romania.

The 1998 World Cup winners play Albania on Friday, before a potential table-topping decider against Bosnia-Herzegovina next Tuesday.
