Lyon manager Remi Garde was full of praise after his side built on their unbeaten start to the Ligue 1 season with a win at home to Ajaccio.
Goals from Dejan Lovren and Lisandro Lopez secured the 2-0 victory on Sunday for Lyon, who kept their second clean sheet of the campaign.
Lyon are second on the table with four wins and one draw, two points behind Marseille.
“It was a good victory,” Garde said.
“We have spent the last 15 days a bit disjointed because there were many players absent (on international duty).
“There were different levels of performance, but they found the team dynamic. Overall, I am satisfied.
“Not conceding a goal has been the objective since the beginning of the season and I think it is the same for all the clubs.
“And do not forget, Ajaccio had two excellent chances, the first at the end of the first half and the other in early second half. However, I think we have been able to control the game.”
Lyon will open their Europa League campaign at home to Sparta Prague on Thursday before travelling to Lille for their next league fixture on Sunday.
