Ghana giants Asante Kotoko’s Ivorian import Ahmed Toure has told Goal.com he has passed his medical with Al Masry.

Speaking from Egypt on Sunday, the 24-year-old said he will return to his Kumasi base in Ghana by early Tuesday.

He said he might be playing his last Ghana Premier League game this week based on the outcome of the final negotiations between the two teams.

Toure denied rumours in some Ghanaian media that he had problems with his medical, which could affect his transfer.

“Everything went well,” the Ivorian with Black Stars interest said.

“I was down with malaria, but that didn’t have anything to do with my medicals.”

“The results were positive and everything depends on my team and the Egyptian club now,” he said.

The Porcupine Warriors talisman could not train with the Port Said-based club or visit their training facilities because of the malaria but was hopeful his transfer was on track.
