Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has warned the rest of Serie A that his men are determined to maintain their place at the top of the table.
Dusan Basta and Antonio Di Natale scored the goals in the 2-1 win over Siena on Sunday, which saw the Stadio Friuli side go above Juventus at the league summit.
And Guidolin insists his players will do everything in their power to stay at the top.
“I want to dedicate our place at the top of the table to my players,” Guidolin told Rai. “We are delighted. We played and beat an impressive Siena, who were fresh and gave us some trouble.”
“However, my team have aquired solidarity and we are maintaining it. We lost a player like Alexis Sanchez (to Barcelona), but we are still doing well. We will try and stay top as long as we can.”
Udinese take on Parma in Serie A on November 20, in their first match after the international break.
