Hebei Fortune hoping to recruit Leo Messi

El Mundo Deportivo understands that Hebei Fortune plan to launch an assault on Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

The Chinese Super League side have so far recruited Ezequiel Lavezzi and Javier Masherano, and it has now been revealed that there was a hidden agenda behind those two signings.

Namely, Hebei Fortune plan to persuade Argentina star Lionel Messi to join their ranks one day in the future and that is one of the reasons why they have recruited two of his closest friends.

The 30-year-old recently signed a new deal with Barcelona that contains a staggering €700 million release clause, but the Chinese side obviously hope he will eventually consider leaving Camp Nou.

Leo Messi has spent his entire career up to date with the Catalans, bagging 369 goals in 404 La Liga outings.
