Hercules to finalize move for Juventus legend; Enzo Marseca set for Serie A return

Parma looking to sign Enzo Maresca

Former Juventus midfielder Enzo Maresca is set to leave Olympiakos after he has reportedly agreed to end his contract with the Greek side.

The 30-year-old midfielder could be on his way back to Serie A with Parma exploring the option of bringing him to Ennio Tardini.

Maresca is thought to have become disillusioned with life at Karaiskaki and he now wants to move back to one of the top European leagues after spending four fruitful years at Sevilla prior to his move to Olympiakos last summer.

Parma are looking to add more creativity to the centre of the park and Enzo Maresca’s quality and experience make him a perfect choice for Gialloblu, especially as he would probably be available on a free transfer.

Hannover snatch DaMarcus Beasley

Bundesliga side Hannover have announced the signing of USA winger DaMarcus Beasley from Glasgow Rangers.

After seeing his contract with Glasgow Rangers come to an end, USA international DaMarcus Beasley have signed a two-year contract with Hannover 96.

He was welcomed by none other than Steven Cherundolo, Hannover captain and his USA teammate.

“He is fast, often looks for situations to take the players on. A very dangerous player.”

Coach Mirko Slomka, who guided Hannover to back to back wins at the start of the season believes Beasley’s experience will help the team’s push for survival.

“DaMarcus will give us a further push in Bundesliga with his international experience.”

Hercules set to sign David Trezeguet

After canceling his contract at Juventus, David Trezeguet is on the verge of signing for Hercules.

The Frenchman arrived to Alicante today at noon and he is expected to sign a two-year contract with newly-promoted side during the afternoon.

Trezeguet decided to end his career at Juventus after scoring 171 goals in 320 games during his ten years at the club and he is thought to be ready for a new challenge.

Even though several other clubs were also interested in the striker, one of the main reasons why Trezeguet chose Hercules is because his wife is originally from Alicante.

There is no doubt Trezeguet’s experience will be a major asset for the La Liga minnows and if they are to have a realistic chance of staying in top flight, Hercules will need the Frenchman firing from all cylinders from the very start.
