Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has no intention of resigning amid reports that his days are numbered at Carrow Road.
The former Newcastle United boss is under pressure following a dismal run of eight games without a win in all competitions.
Norwich are 15th in the Premier League, just two points above the relegation zone, and face a crunch clash with Hull City on Saturday.
A defiant Hughton insisted after the 3-0 FA Cup defeat on Fulham on Tuesday that he does not fear the sack.
And the 55-year-old Londoner stressed that he will not be walking out on the club.
When asked if he would consider resigning, Hughton told reporters: “No, never.
“We understand the frustrations of everybody. We are working hard. A couple of wins and everybody looks at things a lot differently.
“We’re all pulling in the same direction as we all want the same thing – to be further up the table.
“Our form in general hasn’t been too bad. “
Hughton also confirmed that winger Anthony Pilkington (hamstring) and midfielder Alex Tettey (ankle) will be back in contention to face Steve Bruce’s side.”
