Iran and Jordan played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in an international friendly in Dubai on Thursday.
Carlos Queiroz’s Iran side extended their unbeaten run to 11 matches with the draw at Zabeel Stadium in the United Arab Emirates.
Iran, ranked 47 in the world, have already booked a place in the fourth round of AFC World Cup qualifying, sitting top of Group E ahead of their final third-round outing, a clash against Qatar in Tehran on Wednesday.
Adnan Hamad’s Jordan are in a similarly good position, leading Group A ahead of a meeting with China in Guangzhou.
