Mauricio Isla has admitted he would like to leave Udinese at the end of the season, with Inter reportedly looking to make a move.

The 23-year-old Chilean international arrived at the Stadio Friuli in 2007 and has since gone on to earn a reputation as one of the most exciting attacking full-backs in the Serie A.

He has recently been heavily linked with a possible switch to Inter at the end of the current campaign, and Isla has reacted to the speculation by confirming that he is open to a move away from Udinese.

“I would like to leave for a big team,” he wrote on his personal website. “I think the moment has arrived (to leave) after five seasons at Udinese. For this, I have to keep working hard every day.”

However, Isla insisted that he remains committed to helping his current employers, who sit joint top of Serie A alongside Juventus, in their bid to maintain their impressive start to the new season.

“At the moment, I am not thinking about anything (other than Udinese),” he said. “Everyone here has treated me well, I want to underline that.”

Udinese take on Atletico Madrid on matchday three of the Europa League on Thursday.
