Jonny Castro to leave Celta Vigo

Estadio Deportivo is reporting that Celta Vigo full-back Jonny Castro is set to leave for greener pastures at the end of the season.

The highly rated full-back has been heavily linked with a summer exit and it seems that the Sky Blues will have no choice but to cash in on him at the end of the season.

Namely, Jonny has already decided not to renew the contract that is due to expire in just over a year, meaning that a summer exit is a realistic possibility.

Meanwhile, Celta have agreed to sign Junca from Eibar as a replacement for the 24-year-old, who will not be going to Sevilla after all.

Los Rojiblancos have dropped their interest after recruiting Miguel Layun, but there will be other Spanish clubs jumping at the chance to secure the services of the former Spain Under-21 international.
