Juan Quintero on Benfica radar

Italian TV station Sky Italia is reporting that Benfica are readying summer bid for Pescara midfielder Juan Quintero.

The Eagles have already signed Filip Djuricic and Miralem Sulejmani for the upcoming season, but they plan to continue summer recruitment.

With several star players likely to leave in the summer, the Eagles are pondering bid for Pescara starlet Juan Quintero.

According to Sky Italia, the Estadio da Luz outfit are ready to offer around €8 million for the player’s services.

The only problem is that a number of Italy’s top sides are also keen, but Benfica, nonetheless, hope to win the race for the midfielder’s signature.

Juan Quintero only joined Pescara last summer, but has largely impressed in his first Serie A campaign.

The 20-year-old may have made just 17 Serie A appearances this term, but he has clearly done enough to catch the eye of some of Europe’s top clubs.
