July 22nd: Thursday’s MLS Accumulator – 10/1

With another stacked schedule from across the MLS in midweek, we certainly have a host of noteworthy meetings that are worth keeping an eye out for. On that note, for those of you looking to stick on a Thursday flutter, we have found a handful of helpful tips.

Thursday 22nd July

BST 00:30 Columbus Crew vs Nashville SC

Starting with Thursday’s hosts, while they once again might not have been at their best over the weekend, Columbus did pick up what was a much-welcomed victory on home soil. Eventually claiming a 2-1 win against New York City last time out, The Loons brought an end to their four-match MLS winless run. Picking up their first victory over the past month and still sat in pole position to clinch another Final Series spot this season, Caleb Porter’s men have continued to impress on home soil. Including that 2-1 victory against NYCFC over the weekend, The Crew have collected a very impressive 13 points from their last five MLS matchups at Lower.com Field. However, it should be noted, out of those five consecutive home fixtures, four of those matchups have finished with both teams finding the net. On the flip side, laying down what was a clinical marker last time out, there is no doubt that Nashville have continued to impress many this season. Landing themselves a thumping 5-1 romp against Chicago, The Yellows are enjoying a five-match unbeaten run and have skyrocketed their way into the Final Series places. Gaining a reputation for their lively outcomes and bagging seven goals in their back-to-back MLS contests, don’t be shocked to see chances at both ends here.

Tip: Both teams to score @ 10/11

00:30 Inter Miami vs New England Revolution

Tip: New England Revolution win @ 5/4

00:30 New York City vs Montreal

While New England might have endured a worrying run of form when heading into July, The Revs will be desperate to prove that was just a minor blip. Managing to make what was a welcomed return to winning ways over the weekend, Bruce Arena’s side were last seen landing a 1-0 victory against former champions Atlanta on the road. Finding a needed boost and smelling a golden chance to make it back-to-back MLS wins in midweek, the Boston-based outfit have made a string of improvements since opening the 2021 campaign. Missing out on a Final Series spot last season, Arena’s men have skyrocketed their way to the top of the Eastern Conference. Opening up the midweek fixtures holding a four-point buffer in the title chase, New England also have one attacking MVP enjoying a real purple patch. Once again bagging the winner against Atlanta over the weekend, Gustavo Bou has now racked up six goals in just his last seven outings. On the flip side, after seeing their weekend showdown against The Red Bulls get scrapped due to a weather warning, Inter Miami have had even longer to sit on a dreadful run of form. Last seen getting hit with a 1-0 defeat against Montreal, the pressure is really mounting on Phil Neville. In the midst of a five-match losing run and bagging just a single strike on that horror run, we’re backing an away win here.

Tip: Montreal double chance @ 7/4
