Juventus agree to sign Paul Pogba

Serie A giants Juventus have reached an agreement to sign midfielder Paul Pogba from Manchester United, Daily Mail understands.

The talented midfielder reportedly agreed a four-year deal with the Bianconeri that will see him earn around £20,000 per week.

The player’s representative Mino Raiola is set to make around £1.7 million from the deal taking Pogba to Turin.

The 18-year-old is under contract until the end of the season at Old Trafford, meaning that he is set to join the Bianconeri on a free transfer in the summer.

Such a scenario became likely when Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson voiced his frustration at being unable to persuade the youngster into signing a new deal with the Red Devils.

Under FIFA regulations, Manchester United are set to receive a training compensation that will be determined by the world football’s governing body.

The French midfielder made just one Premier League appearance this season, although he featured in three Carling Cup games.
