Juventus complete Asamoah deal

Juventus have secured 100 percent of Kwadwo Asamoah’s registration rights from Udinese.

The Serie A champions bought 50 per cent of the Ghanaian from Udinese in July 2012 after four successful seasons at Stadio Friuli and he made 40 appearances for the Turin club last season.

Asamoah scored three goals in all competitions for the club as they finished nine points clear at the top of the table and reached the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, with manager Antonio Conte quick to secure the player’s long-term future at the Juventus Stadium.

A total of nine million euros will be paid to Udinese over the next three years for the 24-year-old, who has signed a four-year contract with Juve.

“Juventus Football Club announces that it has terminated the current co-ownership agreement with Udinese Calcio concerning the registration rights of Kwadwo Asamoah,” the statement read.

Juventus extended their co-ownership agreements with Udinese over the registration of Mauricio Isla and Cristian Pasquato for another 12 months.

Right-sided Chile international Isla will remain with the Serie A champions next term, while Pasquato will continue with Udinese.
