Juventus enter Giovinco talks; Marseille showing interest in Diego Milito

Juventus enter Giovinco talks

Juventus and Parma have opened negotiations regarding the future of forward Sebastian Giovinco, Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed.

According to the newspaper, Juventus president Andre Agnelli held talks with Parma chairman Tommaso Ghirardi on Monday.

The player is currently co-owned by Parma and Juventus, with one of the two clubs set to buy out the remaining 50% of the player’s contract at the end of the season.

Giovinco has been in impressive form this season, having scored 6 goals in 9 league games for Parma.

Juventus are now considering a return for the Atomic Ant, who would be expected to replace club icon Alessandro Del Piero.

The Bianconeri are hoping to trash out a deal in the near future, as the latest reports suggest that Chelsea, too, are really keen on the 24-year-old.

The player himself recently stated that he was happy at Parma, but failed to rule out a return to Turin.

Marseille showing interest in Diego Milito

Olympique Marseille are pondering a bid for Inter striker Diego Milito, according to Le Parisien.

The French giants are not satisfied with the impact of Andre-Pierre Gignac and they are looking for a new centre forward.

After failing to sign Amauri in the summer, OM are now preparing a bid for unsettled Inter striker Diego Milito.

The Argentine is no longer considered a first team regular at Giuseppe Meazza and he could leave the club in January.

The player’s agent recently stated that his client would decide whether to stay at Inter by the end of November.

Marseille boast some excellent wingers in Andre Ayew and Loic Remy, but lack a powerful centre forward who can score goals on regular basis.

OM chiefs believed that the signing of Andre-Pierre Gignac from Toulouse would solve the problem, but the former France international has been in terrible form this season, having failed to score in seven league appearances.

Saha admits PSG difficult to refuse

Everton forward Louis Saha says that an offer from Paris Saint-Germain would be difficult to refuse.

The Frenchman has struggled to make an impact at Goodison Park due to his numerous injury problems and he could soon decide to leave England in order to return to France.

The player who only featured for Metz in his homeland is happy to see that Paris Saint-Germain is growing in stature.

“There is a cohesive team that is under construction,” Saha was quoted as saying by RMC.

“It’s always fun and interesting to be included in a project like this.”

The player has now indirectly offered his services to Paris Saint-Germain.

“Paris is a proposition that is difficult to refuse, especially when you see the players there.”

The Frenchman has one and a half years left on his deal at Goodison, but is expected to leave the club much sooner.
