Juventus to bid for Sampdoria captain

Juventus are weighing up January move for Sampdoria midfielder Angelo Palombo, La Gazzetta dello Sport reveals.

The Italy international had offers to leave Sampdoria when the club were relegated to Serie B, but he ultimately decided to remain at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

However, Palombo has reportedly expressed his desire to leave the club following the poor start to the Serie B campaign.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are pondering a bid for the 30-year-old as they look to boost their midfield options in January.

The Bianconeri are prepared to offer youngster Luca Marrone in a cash plus player deal in exchange for the experienced midfielder.
