Juventus to hold new meeting with Emre Can

Italian champions Juventus are set for a new meeting with Liverpool star Emre Can and his managers, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri were believed to have found an agreement with the Germany international to join them on a free transfer in the summer, but the player has hesitated to sign the contract.

Having learned that top English clubs have been presenting offers to Can, Juventus officials plan to hold one last meeting with the midfielder and try to persuade him to sign.

Said Premier League sides are reportedly prepared to top Juventus’ proposal of €5 million per campaign, which has seen the Bianconeri concerned they could miss out on their target.

Emre Can will be a free agent in the summer having rejected a new deal at Anfield, meaning his four-year spell in England is drawing to a close.
