La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia could be the first high-profile footballer to leave Inter Milan in the winter.
The Nerazzurri plan to shake up the squad following the dismal start to the season, and they need to offload a number of players before they can proceed with reinforcing their ranks.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Geoffrey Kondogbia is in the group of players that will be allowed to leave, having failed to impress since joining from Monaco.
Former coach Frank de Boer didn’t hide his disappointment with the 23-year-old footballer, and it appears that new boss Stefano Pioli is not keen on keeping the Frenchman in the squad either.
Reports from Italy suggest that Inter will allow Kondogbia to leave on loan with an option to buy for €20 million, but it remains to be seen whether there will be any takers.
