Granada ended a three-match losing streak with a 2-1 win at Real Betis in La Liga on Friday.
Gabriel Torje handed Granada the lead after just eight minutes, but the teams were on level terms when Ruben Castro found the net in the 62nd minute.
Betis peppered the goal with shots in search of a winner, but came undone when Granada midfielder Mikel Rico beat goalkeeper Adrian San Miguel in the 74th minute.
Granada climbed to 11th on the table with their third win of the season, while Betis missed the chance to go to third and stay in fourth place with 19 points from 11 games.
Granada will play host to Atletico Madrid next week, while Betis travel to face Sevilla.
