Manchester United have finished their Carabao Cup campaign for this season, even before the remainder of the Premier League’s ‘big six’ started theirs.
The 20-time English champions had to battle League Two side Grimsby Town from two goals down, and having managed to draw level, they were knocked out on penalties.
