It was all about Timo Werner in Leipzig until just recently, but now another name is important in that city – Patrik Schick. RB Leipzig are close to signing AS Roma striker, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The expert on Italian transfer market claims that Schick will join the Bundesliga outfit on a two-year loan.
Roma have been willing to let the Czech Republic international leave, as they are hopeful of bringing in another forward before the summer transfer window ends on Monday night. Roma managed to keep Edin Džeko at the club, which definitely helped Schick’s cause. The striker will move to Germany, where he will play alongside Timo Werner, who was rumoured to make a move to Bayern Munich. Now that he is staying, he just might make a great partnership with Schick.
While Roma will be losing Schick for two years, they are hopeful of signing Nikola Kalinic from Atletico Madrid.
