Lichtsteiner: Juve could have more wins

Juventus defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has insisted that the Turin giants have not struggled against smaller teams this campaign.

The Serie A table toppers were held to draws by Catania, Bologna and Chievo in their first six matches, but the Swiss full-back is of the opinion that they deserved the full three points in at least two of those meetings.

“I disagree with all the people who say that we struggle against smaller teams,” Lichtsteiner told Sky Sport Italia.

“We created a lot of chances against Bologna and Chievo and deserved to win both games in my opinion. The only thing that was missing in those matches was a goal.”

Juve have beaten Parma, AC Milan and Siena to lead the league on 12 points, level with Udinese, ahead of their clash at home to Genoa on Saturday.
