Sporting Braga moved level on points with third-placed Sporting Lisbon in Liga Sagres on Monday, with a 2-1 away win over Beira-Mar.

The visitors led after Lima scored his third goal in as many games in the 16th minute at the Estadio Municipal de Aveiro.

The eighth-placed Beira-Mar struck back to be level at half-time, when Artur netted three minutes prior to the interval.

But Braga were not to be denied the three points, as Carlao came off the bench to score the winner in the 73rd minute to help them to their eighth win in 14 matches this season.

Despite sitting seven places clear of the relegation zone, Beira-Mar remain just four points from the drop in a packed bottom-half of the table.
