An injury-time equaliser saw a 10-man Stade Rennes steal a point in a 1-1 draw against Lille in Sunday’s Ligue 1 action.
Rennes had Nigerian defender Onyekachi Apam sent off for a second yellow card on 38 minutes and Lille capitalised moments later.
Belgian midfielder Eden Hazard provided the assist for Cameroon defender Aurelien Chedjou to give Rudi Garcia’s side a handy advantage at half-time.
Rennes kept the difference to just one goal though in the hope of snatching a draw, which they managed to do when Mevlut Erdinc scored in the first minute of stoppage time.
In other matches, Marseille had their nine-match unbeaten streak in the league ended at mid-table outfit Brest.
Paul Bayasse scored the only goal of the game after 17 minutes to give Alex Dupont’s side their first win in five.
Toulouse also won at home, defeating Sochaux 2-0.
Tunisian defender Aymen Abdennour bagged the opener after 10 minutes before Emmanuel Riviere wrapped up the win with his 55th minute strike.
