According to Teamtalk, Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea have long been monitoring Juventus defender Gleison Bremer, and concrete steps towards bringing him to the Premier League are expected soon.
Juventus would obviously like to keep the player that has developed into one of the best centre-backs in the Serie A. At the age of 28, Bremer is contracted to the Old Lady until 2029, but there is fear within the club that interest from several top clubs in the Premier League could turn his head – both from the football, and the financial side of things. Therefore, Juventus are resigned to their resolve being tested over the next two transfer windows.
Manchester United and Chelsea are still looking to improve their respective squads sufficiently to challenge for the Premier League again, while Liverpool, the reigning champions, might soon need to replace Real Madrid-linked Ibrahima Konate.
Bremer joined Juventus in 2022 for around €47million, and has gone on to represent the Bianconeri on 95 occasions so far. He has five caps as a Brazil international to his name.
