Luka Jovic set for permanent Eintracht Frankfurt stay

Benfica striker Luka Jovic is almost certain to remain with Eintracht Frankfurt beyond the current season, according to Serbian media.

The 20-year-old joined the Bundesliga side in a low-profile move last summer, arriving on loan with an option to buy for €12.5 million.

As things stand now, Eintracht will probably trigger said clause before the end of the season as the striker has been in stunning form of late.

Jovic has now scored in four straight Bundesliga games, taking his tally to 8 league goals this term, which is an outstanding record when we take into account that he only spent 711 minutes on the pitch.

This means that the striker’s minute per goal ratio is second only to Robert Lewandowski in Bundesliga, and chances are Eintracht will give their best to secure the services of the Serbian footballer.
