Man City and Juventus vying for Joao Cancelo

European powerhouses Manchester City and Juventus are readying summer bids for Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo, according to Manchester Evening News.

After initially struggling for form, the Portuguese footballer has impressed during the loan spell at Inter Milan, but it is now clear he will not be staying at Stadio San Siro.

Namely, due to FIFA Financial Fair Play constraints, the Nerazzurri are unable to trigger a €39 million buy-out clause, but Man City and Juventus are ready to swoop in.

The two clubs are both in the market for right-sided defenders and Joao Cancelo is high on their respective wish lists.

The 24-year-old, who can also operate as a right winger, has managed 1 goal and 3 assists in 26 Serie A matches last season.
