Premier League giants Manchester City are hot on the trail of Schalke starlet Leroy Sane, according to Bild.
New Man City manager Pep Guardiola has already signed Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund, while reports in England suggest that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will arrive at Etihad Stadium as well.
On top of that, Bild has now claimed that the Citizens are hoping to agree a deal for Schalke midfielder Leroy Sane.
The 20-year-old is already regarded as one of leading Bundesliga footballers and he was named in Germany Euro 2016 squad.
Despite making mere 47 league appearances for the Miners, the youngster is ready to join a top European club this summer, with Manchester City clearly in a pole position.
Considering that a €37 million release clause will be activated next summer, Schalke may decide to cash in on their star player in the next couple of months and thus secure the best possible price.
