Manchester United are open to selling Andre Onana to a Saudi Pro League club, with the transfer window in Saudi Arabia still open, according to TeamTalk.
Onana’s performances for United have sparked plenty of criticism due to an unacceptable number of high-profile errors, which cast a shadow over his overall quality between the posts. The 29-year-old Cameroon international was angling for a new contract at Old Trafford, but he’s been informed by manager Ruben Amorim that there is no place for him in the team anymore, especially since the arrival of Senne Lammens.
On the other hand, a number of Saudi clubs are looking to bring in established players from top European leagues, and that makes Onana an interesting prospect from their point of view.
There are ongoing talks with several potential suitors, and as no agreement has been reached as of yet, United are open to all options that would see Onana leave for a suitable fee.
