Mario Mandzukic linked with China switch

Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport understands that Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic could be allowed to leave at the end of the season.

Head coach Max Allegri and club officials have been far from impressed with the forward’s latest appearances and they are considering cashing in on the 31-year-old in the summer.

With several Chinese clubs having attempted to recruit the Croatian footballer in January, Juventus hope some of them will rekindle their interest at the end of the current campaign.

Mario Mandzukic has spent last three years in Turin, producing 31 goals and 17 assists in 122 competitive outings.

The experienced striker had also enjoyed successful spells with Zagreb, Dinamo Zagreb, Wolfsburg, Bayern Munich and Atletico Madrid.
